So I just got the OK from work to go to the FITC Chicago event. I'm pretty excited because I'm actually quite interested in the sessions that are going to be happening at the one day event. Most particularly I'm looking forward to hearing Samuel Agesilas (levelofindustry.com fame) speak about Orchid. I'll also be hoping to maybe hear some news about his Saffron project. That of course would just be a bonus. At any rate, is anyone else going? Perhaps I'll bring a few copies of the book to hand out if anyone would be interested.

Hey Matt,
Came across this post just Googling for FITC Chicago to buy ticket. I too am really interested in hearing about Saffron. This is first I’ve heard of Orchid, and it looks awesome too. You’d think being in the same city, and even same flash group, I might follow his projects closer.
Liked your posts on Simultaneous Key Presses (totally didn’t know about the details) and Palmer (man do I wish I just did R&D).
Maybe we’ll bump into each other there… I’m most excited about Samuel, and gmunk. FMS sounds cool, though I hope they talk about FMS3 too (or even better that its a typo, and is really about fms3 not fms2)… and of course networking.

Right on Mondo. Perhaps I’ll see you there. Feel free to say whats up if you see me. Draw a beard and mustache on the picture of the book cover and perhaps you’ll find me that way.
